I think Juliette was right--it was probably nail polish remover. It looked like someone had tried to clean her face with nail polish remover or some other type of make-up remover, and it took off her eyebrows and the paint from her eyelids, and got on her eyes, too. (Thus doing more harm than good--such a pity.) There was a hardened cloudy film over them, except up near the eyelashes, so you could see the difference. I also think that it damaged the surface very slightly, so it's not quite as slick as before.
So take a lesson, children---an ounce of prevention is worth a TON of cure! [img]eek.gif[/img] [img]biggrin.gif[/img]
